Holiday Weekend was Perfect First Day to Gather Family

With the dock and access to it completed, it was time to share it with family. 

The 4th of July was quite busy on the lake, but it proved to be the perfect outing during the pandemic. We enjoyed our picnics socially distanced, kayaked, swam and – when the dock proved too hot in the afternoon sun – spread out on the shady beach and hill to enjoy the cool breeze that chilled the lot. 

The dock area was still a work in progress, but that day was the first of what I’d envisioned would be years of family memories to come.
