Dock Tales Part 16 • View Series
Now that we could park and walk to our dock, it was time to invest in landscaping. My goal was to exceed the lake ordinance and replenish many more trees than the few we removed building the driveway, shed and dock.
After researching, I ordered 40 deer-resistant native plants – junipers, hollies, cedars, hydrangeas and rhododendrons. I’ve always loved working in yards, but I’m in my mid-60s and had a desk job. This was my biggest project yet and 40 is a lot of holes on a hill.
Jason Floyd of Bennick Grading had a suggestion: Call Mike Carr, Auger Guy.
