Dock Tales Part 19 • View Series
Driving away from the “one-day-sale” holding my sales contract to buy seven acres, I struggled on the phone to justify the purchase to wife Jan, who was home, four hours away.
“It’s so pretty,” I said. “It’s a good deal. There are so many micro-eco systems tucked into this property. It’s amazing.” She wasn’t convinced.
Then I proffered: “There’s the coolest brewery on an old dairy farm less than two miles away from our lot. It overlooks the mountains and has tables in a huge field and pours the best beer!”
“You know I drink wine, not beer,” she said.
